The new EP is done! We were at Planet of Sound Studios in Hartford today to finish mastering. Over the next month, we'll be wrapping up the art work and liner notes, and sending it out for duplication. We'll make an big anouncement just prior to the release.

Things always take longer than you anticipate. We're still recording, but things are sounding better than we had hoped. Our Pro Tools setup is light years beyond what we had to deal with on Days of Disdain. The band hopes to be finished during the next month or so. Jamie and Marco are done with drums and bass, and Blake just finished his guitar tracks tonight. He still has to put down vocals, and I need to do synth and a little bit of guitar.
Between our studio sessions we've had some time to work on a few new cover songs that we think you guys will like. We hope to unveil some of them at our shows next month.

We're taking advantage of some down time between shows to begin laying down tracks on some new material. A lot of people have been asking what the extent of the project is, when it will be completed, and what songs will be included. As of now, we are targeting a winter release. Based on schedule and budget, we're not sure if it will be a full LP or a 3-5 song EP. The recordings will definitely include the songs Monotony and Losing that you've heard in our recent sets and potentially a few songs that we have not performed live as of yet.
We'll keep you posted on our progress.

Montreal is where it's at when it comes to rock n roll ... we had a blast up there playin music @ this club called Barfly on Ste Laurent, drinkin up plenty, and watching our buddies play their asses off in hockey! Can't wait to go back next year, if not sooner! We may be planning a small Montreal tour in the near term - Stay tuned ...

We just wanted to post a quick update, thanking everyone who came out to the shows last week!
It was great to see a full house on a Thursday night at the Hungry Tiger Cafe supporting live original music. Despite the freezing cold temperatures outside, it was hopping inside, and if anyone had the "Tiger Punch", their insides were hopping as well. The Hungry Tiger staff was great to us, and we hope to be back sometime in the near future for a weekend show.
The 2nd Annual Electric Mayhem Bus Trip on Saturday was an unbelievable success. We didn't think we could top the original, but we manage to blow it out of the water. The trip sold out, so next time we'll promise to see if they make a bigger bus. We also appreciate all the support from our NYC fans that met us at the Continental. For more on the trip, check out JC's blog over at Myspace.

Forline Orphans and Livid are sponsoring a party bus trip to their show at the Continental
in NYC on January 28th. Tickets are now available for $30 and include round trip transportation from CT, snacks, and all the beer you can drink...don't worry, the bus has a bathroom. We leave at 4PM from the Cromwell Commuter Lot Exit 21 off RT 91, and will return at 1AM. Tickets at the door are $5, $8 for anyone under 21.

The Webster informed us that Orgy decided to end their tour on june 12 and cancel the rest of their dates. We will be collecting tickets and refunding money. We apologize for any inconvience.

For those of you who don't know, last fall our process of making music was hindered and forced us to make some changes. Making those changes, required a great deal of work over the past 3 months, and ultimately we were forced to move. We finally finished the move and are now getting set up in our new home base just outside of Hartford CT. The move helps us manage all the activities we must juggle in this project of ours. We now are able to write, record, practice, and promote all from one central location.
Tremendous thanks to Gerry and VinCoz for helping us get our studio powered up last weekend.
There is still more to do, but after we get settled, we'll be polishing up some new material which we hope to have ready for some shows we're working on for next month. We are also beginning to promote our CD with regional radio stations, so expect a list of request information soon.

We are currently seeking a bassist to replace Nikkos. If you would like to audition, or know of someone who might be interested, please contact us.
We ask that only those that can meet the following requirements apply:
-Practice twice a week in the Hartford area-
-Gig 4-6 times per month, travel to CT, NY, MA,& RI-
Until we find the right guy or gal, we will be using a sequenced MIDI track.
So while you may not see a bass player, you'll still hear one.

Nikkos will be leaving Forline Orphans to head up a new project. As a good friend and gifted bassist, he will be sorely missed. We wish him all the best and thank him for all the hard work he put into helping us get off the ground last year.

Happy New Year to everyone. We've found a new secret lair just outside of Hartford. We are working out some last minute details, but it looks like we will be up and running at the end of February. The new place will help us work on new material which we hope to start playing out this spring.
